taobento Avelin - Restaurant asiatique à emporter

As a loyal customer of Tao Bento Avelin, I came this evening at 8:30 PM to buy a box I had ordered several times before, along with other products. To my surprise, I was told that it was no longer possible to prepare it on my own and that I had to order two, due to a "production issue." No further explanation was given. I respect an establishment's organizational choices, but when such a condition is neither displayed nor explained, it's frustrating. I made the trip specifically for this product and left empty-handed. It's a shame, because until now I had always been satisfied with my experiences at Tao Bento.

Arrived this evening at 8:50 PM for sushi and prepared dishes. I made my selections, and was quickly ushered to the register at 8:57 PM, only to have 50% off everything I ordered put on swatches three minutes later. I mentioned this to the cashier, who barely responded, simply saying the discount was applied after 9 PM. I don't think that's fair. Taobento, do you think this is acceptable business practice? Awaiting your response.

We are regular customers of Tao Bento, and this is the second time we've found the portion size of the pad thai to be small. It's a shame we can't post photos (as proof). Considering the prices, the container is only half full! Furthermore, the staff's friendliness is really not great; only the young woman at the register was friendly. I really don't know if I'll continue going there!

My first experience with Taobento, and my impressions are rather mixed. Overall, the food was good, but far from exceptional considering the prices. The satay skewers seemed particularly expensive for the quantity offered. As for the sushi, some pieces had quite dry rice, giving the impression that they had been prepared well before service. Furthermore, the portions are rather small, especially for those with a large appetite. In the end, the meal was decent, but several aspects could be improved, particularly regarding the value for money. For a €60 order, one would expect to leave feeling completely satisfied.

As regular customers of Tao Bento Avelin, we were particularly disappointed this evening... we were pleased to find you open on May 1st, but what a letdown the wok... the quantity of noodles and shrimp was truly disappointing... especially considering the price, which isn't exactly low! Furthermore, the avocado in the maki rolls was hard... Truly disappointing and unacceptable for a €44 order... Another drawback: paper restaurant vouchers are no longer accepted, even on Sundays and holidays.

Getting better and better! Having a garlic allergy, they adapted perfectly, and the salmon was perfect, cooked just right. Thank you so much!

It's a lovely place, always very clean, where the welcome is excellent. The food is delicious, particularly fresh, and well-prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's run by very professional and exceptionally friendly people.
