A Bellevue

The location and food are honestly pretty good value for money. But the owner, lol... Who is this guy? Okay, he's apparently of Moroccan origin, but when I come to eat on the terrace, and he brings all his friends to watch the World Cup match, yelling at the top of their lungs, forgetting about the other customers while the two very nice waitresses do their jobs, it disgusts me. And it's not the first time the owner has given me a bad impression, acting like a king.

I prefer pizza 🍕 with acacia honey and goat cheese 🐐

The owner of this restaurant is truly unpleasant and completely ruins the charm of his own establishment. We used to frequent this place regularly and loved it, especially because the lady at the reception was so kind and the food was excellent, but this last experience spoiled everything. We came for a drink, specifying that we had 45 minutes to spare, which they kindly granted. We were seated, but the owner spoke very rudely to his employees in front of everyone. He ordered them to take our order very quickly, claiming that there were reservations after us. We drank our drinks quickly, feeling rushed and very uncomfortable because of the oppressive atmosphere. It's truly regrettable, because the waitresses were professional. He may have nothing to lose with us, but that's it, we won't be back. What a shame.

Unfriendly owner. In front of customers, he rushes a waitress to take orders because the tables need to be freed up as quickly as possible for the "20 tables to prepare." If he doesn't want to serve customers before a reservation, he should just book the entire place for a private event instead of putting pressure on his staff and customers.

The waitress was too nice. If she doesn't want to work, she should change careers. The restaurant business is a profession.

Arriving at 9:20-9:30 PM (the sign said closing at 11:30 PM), we asked if it was still possible to eat. The waitress sighed before going to check with the kitchen. When she returned, she showed us to a table and asked us to sit down, then tossed the menus on the table without a word. Five minutes later, she came back to take our order. I asked for a little more time to choose, as I wasn't familiar with the restaurant, and she replied curtly, "If it's in 5 minutes, that's OK." At the end of the meal, we ordered coffee: another sigh. We paid, and then the same thing happened again—no words, no goodbye, until we ourselves wished her a good evening. The food wasn't bad, but the service clearly ruined the experience.

There aren't 36 quality restaurants in Cysoing. Bellevue and Les Fées Couscous are the best. They're not two brothers for nothing! A thousand thanks for your warmth, family welcome, kindness, and delicious meal. Quality food. Thank you so much, Abel. The staff is also very friendly. Frankly and honestly, you're in the top 1, along with Fréro across the street couscous. These are restaurants my wife and I have preferred for about 15 years. Please don't change a thing!
