I've been going to this chip shop for a while now, and I'm disappointed a little more each time... between the sometimes exorbitant prices and the ever-decreasing portion of fries. I've attached a photo of a portion of an American-style sandwich. And I think it's a shame to charge extra for the sauce in the bread, which is, after all, the basis of a sandwich... on top of that, the way the staff speak to customers sometimes leaves much to be desired.

An unusual place with a very warm atmosphere. I've been a regular customer since it opened. I've noticed for some time now that the quality of the fries has declined; they've been undercooked several times. I'm a little disappointed because they used to be the best fries in La Bassée. HOWEVER, the sandwiches are really good; I love the quality of the bread and the meat too (merguez, nuggets, or steak, which is what I usually get).

The fries are very good, however, the owner has a strange way of looking at certain people. It's definitely awkward. We were stared at the whole time, from the moment we walked in until we left. We won't be going back. What a shame.

This is the first time I've ever felt like I was eating fries that were just pre-cooked. I'm sorry, but I tried to eat them, and it was impossible; the fries weren't cooked enough and were therefore greasy. It's a shame because the portion was generous.

Very good, the only downside is that it's a shame it wasn't a good golden, fresh baguette from the baker instead of a small white loaf.
