Very, very good homemade food, served with a smile.

During our stay in Lille, we spent the evening at Coucou and received a very warm welcome. Despite the slight language barrier, ordering went smoothly, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was freshly prepared, tasted fantastic, and the wine selection offered excellent value for money. We particularly recommend the pasta with salmon and the onglet steak, which was cooked to perfection. To finish, we shared several desserts. The exceptional tiramisu with brioche was especially delightful and provided a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Anyone in Lille looking for fresh cuisine, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere should definitely visit Coucou.

Avoid at all costs!!! There were two of us, and we specified that we were short on time. The waitress assured us of quick service. … As a result, the waiter took our drink order three times. After a 20-minute wait for our main courses, I asked how long it would take to be served… no response until I went over to ask again… The food finally arrived after a 35-minute wait without any explanation. And then the risotto was dense and really not exceptional in flavor. I mentioned this to the waitress, who simply said she would inform the chef. I received no further feedback. However, when it came time to pay the bill, on which no discount was offered, they suggested we add a tip!!!

I ordered the shrimp poke bowl. I found the portion very small for the price. I made the mistake of pouring all the soy sauce over it, and it was way too salty. My friend had the veggie burger, which was very good, and the fries were excellent.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a drink or a meal 🥘 The salads are absolutely delicious and prepared with care. Ryan gave us a warm welcome, demonstrating kindness and professionalism.
