IT - Italian Trattoria Lomme

We came this week, the wait at the till was very long, then we were told they were out of pasta, so we ordered pizzas. The wait for our food was even longer, over 30 minutes. The pizzas were soggy, the crust almost raw. The tiramisu was soggy and really not good... We were given to understand that there was a problem in the kitchen that evening, but in that case, they shouldn't be serving customers. It's disappointing; we had a very bad meal.

We went there before a movie because of its ideal location. It was only 7:30 pm, the restaurant wasn't very busy, but there was already a long line. The concept didn't really appeal to us, but oh well, we were there. When we got to the register to place our order, we were rudely informed that they were out of pasta. Amazing for an Italian restaurant... We ordered a pizza and a salad with a soft-boiled egg as an extra. They were out of eggs... We were given two vibrators, and of course, our dishes weren't ready at the same time. The ginger and tonic cocktail tasted only of orange juice, which we doubt was actually fresh. After the meal, we had to clear the table, just like at Flunch... In short, we won't be going back.

Not many people for a Saturday; we chose our own table. Plenty of staff. No table service; we had to get up to order and then pick up our food (which wasn't hot enough).

Air conditioning failure and service problems; the pasta took over half an hour to arrive, compensated by a free dessert.

I ordered truffle pasta through Uber Eats, and it looked like plain pasta—no cream, just a few mushrooms, and it didn't even taste like truffle. €17 is a rip-off. They would never serve that at a restaurant (I hope), ridiculous... I also received the warm Cokes!

We were served pleasantly and were able to enjoy our meal undisturbed. The young woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. If you're not used to it, it might feel strange not having much interaction with the staff, but this actually means you won't be interrupted in conversation or anything else.

Frankly, I'm very disappointed. The portions of pasta lying around on the counter were getting spit on by everyone. I had the misfortune of dropping my knife and asked for one, but apparently they were completely out of service at 8:00 PM. It took 35 minutes to be served, even though the restaurant was rather empty. I wonder when it's full. I finally received my plate, which was more like a children's meal—a ladleful of spaghetti at most. I've attached a photo of my glass—a delight to combine food and water. Finally, I asked for a manager from this poor team of young people trying to keep the business afloat. I was told there were two absences. I hope at least the manager is there on a Saturday night when his teams are overwhelmed. Well, no, he's not there. Great for a manager... On the other hand, I take my hat off to the young team who are doing their best. Run away from this restaurant; your bosses don't respect you.

A very pleasant experience at this Italian restaurant. The dishes were excellent, the service delightful, and the presentation impeccable. I particularly appreciated the tableware, even though it was plastic, as it was elegant, well-made, and attractively designed.* The only minor drawback was the appetizer platter: the white cheese called "stracciatelli" (if I'm not mistaken) was served in a small, disposable, transparent plastic container. This contrasted with the rest of the presentation, which was otherwise very refined and of high quality. While this cheese should be kept in a container, a more aesthetically pleasing presentation would be more in keeping with the restaurant's high standards. *This is a minor point, as the overall experience was very positive and highly recommended.

A restaurant we absolutely love! The welcome is always warm and friendly; we feel right at home as soon as we arrive. The dishes are delicious, generous, and prepared with care. We go back regularly because it's so good, and we're never disappointed. A place I recommend without hesitation :)

Lunch for two around noon today. The restaurant was practically empty. We weren't familiar with the system: ordering and paying at the register, then collecting your food with a vibrating buzzer that indicates it's ready. The two cashiers were chatting amongst themselves in front of the customers, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The menu was very limited for an Italian restaurant, and there was no ice cream, which was a shame considering the heatwave we've been experiencing for several days. The dishes weren't always ready at the same time (pasta and salad: I had almost finished my pasta by the time the salad arrived). The portions were also small. The new owner, who seemed friendly enough, appears to have recently taken over the restaurant... Well, he's got his work cut out for him! Good luck to him! 😉
