PUB GOUDALE RESTAURANT

I was quite disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a two-salmon bowl. Having eaten it regularly, I found this one very bland, lacking any real flavor. The smoked salmon also seemed to be of rather average quality, which reinforced this impression of a lack of taste. The most disappointing thing was that I had a lot of trouble digesting this meal. For a dish that was supposed to be quite light, I had stomach aches and real discomfort after dinner. On the service side, the waiters were pleasant and welcoming, which was the positive point of the evening. However, we had to leave the restaurant at 10:20 p.m. due to closing time. Having arrived around 7:30 p.m. and having had an aperitif, a main course, and a dessert, it gave us the feeling that the evening ended a little too soon. In the end, I left disappointed, both by the quality and flavors of the dishes and by the overall experience.

We received a very warm welcome at this pub today, Saturday, at 1:45 PM. They told us service was over without any further explanation, basically saying "move along, nothing to see here" LOL 😆

First visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant (apart from a few rather noisy customers, but that's not the restaurant's fault) and the service was very good. However, I found a white hair in my dish, which didn't match my hair color at all. I pointed it out when paying and was offered a small discount... of only €0.24, which I found very inadequate given the situation. A friend ordered a gourmet coffee but didn't receive any coffee. And another friend ordered a café crème, which wasn't served and thankfully wasn't charged. It's a shame, because without this incident, we probably would have had a better experience.

We went there for lunch this Sunday. We had the Saint-Germain Spritz cocktail, and it's the best I've ever had! So, a special shout-out to whoever made it: don't change a thing! The carbonnade was delicious and plentiful! I go to this restaurant regularly, and I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend it.

We came as a group of colleagues, received a warm welcome, the staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food was good. It's a shame you don't offer fish burgers for those who can't eat meat. Best of luck.
