Stratto - Aire de Phalempin Est

A small rest area on the A1 motorway, near Lille, with a Stratto restaurant. It's a shame they only serve sandwiches and pizza slices for dinner.

Don't go there. I can confirm all the comments below! Stay as far away as possible!

This restaurant doesn't deserve a single star, I've been here three times and I've never been served hot food like fries, burger, steak, etc. Unfortunately, not being able to find food at 6:15 PM is outrageous. All the sandwiches you find seem to be made the day before, which is a shame because it's a big truck parking lot, plus the staff is rude to customers, they seem bothered if you ask anything 👎👎👎 I don't recommend it.

Open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I arrived at 8:40 PM; they already had the shutters closed, and were standing there chatting at their leisure with some acquaintances and busy on their mobile phones. When I asked why they weren't open until 10:00 PM, I got the excuse that they had to clean... unreliable place.

The shower isn't working. Too bad!

The paninis come empty. A couple of leaves and half a tomato are visible on the counter. But when you open it, there's nothing else. And the service is terrible.

The toilets are deplorable.

They're open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you arrive at 5:45 p.m., you can choose from a selection of sandwiches, pizzas, and quiche that have apparently been there all day. There's also steak, hamburgers, fries, and pasta on the menu. But you're turned down for everything. Even fresh juice is too hard to squeeze. And then you pay between €20 and €30 for two sandwiches and two bottles of drink.
