IL RISTORANTE - le restaurant italien d'Englos

Hello, I had a bad experience with my meal last night. My glass wasn't clean, and the water bottle arrived 15 minutes late. I ordered pasta carbonara and received pasta that was just greasy from the guar gourd... what a shame.

We came on the evening of the 25th and were very disappointed. The waitress who served us was particularly unpleasant: cold, unfriendly, mumbled, and clearly gave the impression that our presence bothered her. I ordered a Ricard, and the amount served was shameful. There was barely a drop in the glass. We had to ask for it to be refilled, as there was no way we were paying for a mere dregs of Ricard. The mojito, meanwhile, was drowned in cane sugar, making it almost undrinkable. Finally, the pasta carbonara was far too salty, to the point of being inedible. This is the first time I've ever left a restaurant so disappointed. I've never had such an experience before. It's a real shame.

The decor is very well done. The recipes are original and high quality. Unfortunately, the service is not up to par. We waited a long time before being served, our dishes were practically thrown onto the table, and we had to eat with our table cluttered with appetizers.

We were warmly welcomed, the setting was very pleasant, and we enjoyed the food.

A Spritz without Prosecco, weird right?

I was very disappointed with my experience. The quality has really dropped since my previous visits. I ordered a pasta dish that was completely bland. The pasta seemed to have been simply boiled, without any seasoning, and there was far too much liquid on the plate. Furthermore, the menu advertised roasted cherry tomatoes with garlic, but they were barely cooked tomatoes, tasteless, and lacked the expected garlic flavor. It's a real shame, because this restaurant used to be much better. I'm very disappointed and, unfortunately, I won't be going back.
