Estaminet Bet'leu

We had a wonderful meal at BET'LEU. The setting was peaceful and natural! Jonathan was very welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service. The food was delicious and plentiful (special mention for the raspberry tart)! We look forward to our next visit :))

A very disappointing experience. We waited about 45 minutes for our drink order to be taken, then nearly an hour and a half without our food order being taken. We finally left to eat elsewhere. The waitress apologized, explaining that the kitchen was overwhelmed and too small to handle the influx of customers. We understand the difficulties, but the lack of follow-up and the excessive delays made the experience very frustrating. Thank you for your response. You say you accept your mistakes to improve, but your response proves the opposite by distorting reality. The timing: We were 30 minutes early, not an hour. Claiming otherwise to justify the chaotic service is a bit of a cop-out. The wait: Your team did indeed warn us that there would be a delay in the kitchen, and we agreed. But being told there might be a "slight wait" doesn't justify spending an hour and a half in your establishment without even being able to order our food. We understand the rush and the importance of homemade food, but leaving hungry after such a lack of attention, only to then read a response that blames us, is a double whammy. Best of luck to you.

We were pleasantly surprised by this magnificent, beautiful, and well-maintained green space—a true little corner of paradise, a small village straight out of the 1900s... and let's not forget the charming Estaminet, so delightful: outside under parasols in a magnificent setting, the dishes are generous and delicious—a real treat! We'll definitely be back! A big thank you to the whole team! Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the dishes we ordered; I'll do that soon! 😍😍

A traditional pub with classic, iconic dishes. The Welsh rarebit was very good, and the ficelle picarde looked very appealing! The nuggets on the children's menu were homemade and seemed delicious. Finally, the staff was very friendly; I especially want to thank Jonathan, who gave us great advice on drinks!

We came to discover this restaurant on a Sunday at lunchtime and ate on the terrace. The setting was truly lovely and the food was good quality. The wait wasn't any longer than elsewhere, and the servers were pleasant. Apparently, the restaurant's owner has changed recently, so I encourage those who had negative feedback to come and try the new cuisine :) A minor point: the violet diabolo with a tiny bit of violet liqueur and a half-empty glass for €4.50 needs some work. Otherwise, everything was perfect. A nice bonus was the Sunday treat on the children's menu, which was a big hit.
